We have a few events slated for May that you may want to attend or help us with. Let me start with Saturday May 7 - Shelter House fix up up day.
We are going to try to get an early start (8:00AM) goal is to spruce up and fix up the Shelter House and picnic tables to get them ready for this year. If you are willing and able, strap on your tool belt and help us do some needed trim painting on the building and work on the the tops of the picnic tables. The plan on the tables is to take the wood off, surface plane them, reassemble, replace what we need to and treat them for the season and years too come. This hasn’t been done before, so it’s time. The second event in May is scheduled for Saturday May 21 2:00 to maybe 3:30 PM. If you like British sports cars, specifically the Morgan, you’ll want to come out to see this.The Ohio Morgan Owners Group will be stopping at KDLZ as part of their annual event this year to see some interesting aircraft. So it’s time to show off your plane and see some cool cars. Refreshments will be served. Hope you can join us at the Shelter House for this event.
Finally- Yes we will be doing Pancake Breakfasts again this year and maybe even a couple of Young Eagle Events(details of YE still being worked out).
Breakfasts will be on the second Saturday of the Month 8-11am-same as last year.
